Guardian Ad Litem Office (GAL) protects the rights and interests of abused, neglected, abandoned children who are under the jurisdiction of Florida’s dependency courts. Twelve years ago, Donna Kordek began her journey as a Guardian ad Litem volunteer after a successful career as a PR executive for Fortune 500 companies including Sony, Nintendo, Pfizer, General Electric, DuPont, and McDonalds. Today she is responsible for GAL recruitment in Collier, Glades, and Hendry Counties. In addition, she participates in a ten-week training program for new GAL recruits. Donna states, “Living in Naples with my husband is a gift that I appreciate every day.”
