Florida will hold its 2024 Primary Elections on August 20. Many races will be decided on that date; the winners in others will face off in the General Elections in November. Sandy Parker will review the state and local offices and candidates that will be on the ballot for Collier County voters and give you a jump-start for being a more informed voter.

Sandy is the founder/publisher of Sparker's Soapbox, which encourages and facilitates informed voting in Collier County and throughout Florida. A 20-year resident of Collier County, she is an active member of the League of Women Voters of Collier County, the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce, and the Press Club of SWFL. In addition to her work on Sparker's Soapbox, Sandy frequently speaks to local community and civic groups on state and local government topics.
