Michelle McLeod, who organized this whole program, is a former Naples City Councilwoman.
For over 25 years, Michelle has lived and worked in the City of Naples, where she has
continued to stay involved in various community service projects.
Nancy Dauphinais is the Chief Operating Officer at the David Lawrence Center for Behavioral
Health. With a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in Counseling, Nancy is
a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, a Masters Level Certified Addictions Professional and a
Qualified Supervisor in the state of Florida.
Dr. Pam Baker has been the Director/CEO of the National Alliance on Mental Illnesses (NAMI)
of Collier County since 2016. She holds a Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Argosy
University and a Master of Arts in Counselor Education from the University of South Florida.
Her career has been devoted to behavioral health care.
Judge Janiece Martin, among other duties, serves in a Circuit Court capacity in running Collier
County’s Adult Drug Court, one of only eight “mentor courts” in the country. She received her
bachelor’s degree from Duke University and her Law degree from the University of Florida
College of Law. Judge Martin is a member of the Faculty for Florida Judicial College and serves
on the Florida Supreme Court Steering Committee on Problem Solving Courts.
Lieutenant Leslie Weidenhammer is the coordinator of the Mental Health Bureau at the
Collier County Sheriff's Office and a team member in all three of the Collier County Adult
Treatment Courts: Drug Court, Mental Health Court, and the Veterans Treatment Court. Lt.
Weidenhammer has a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and a bachelor’s in
Physical Education and Athletic Training.
Paul Simeone, Ph.D. is the VP-Medical Director of Behavioral Health at Lee Health and Clinical
Assistant Professor in the Department of Behavioral Sciences & Social Medicine at Florida
State University College of Medicine. He has taught in the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard
Medical School and in other institutions. He received his M.A. in experimental psychology from
Mount Holyoke College and his M.A. and Ph.D. in clinical psychology at Adelphi University in
New York.
