Book Club
Communications
The mission of this team is to inform and promote the work of the League, internally and externally. We are marketers, writers, public relations professionals, website editors, and social media volunteers who write articles for local papers, the League website, and Facebook and Instagram. We are looking for resources who would be able to contribute to work in these areas!

Work to enhance our membership's understanding of the value of diversity in our world and increase the number of new members from under-represented groups.

Education
The mission of the Education Committee is to support the education of Collier County residents from early childhood through postsecondary education.

To educate and advocate for the protection of Collier County’s natural resources.

Finance
Governance
The Juvenile Justice Committee (JJC) supports programs that assist at risk youth develop into responsible, productive citizens. This encompasses: - Focusing on delinquency prevention in schools and juvenile justice system, and programs that give kids a second chance after a misdemeanor or low-level felony. - Promoting programs that value kids’ basic needs including their safety and mental health, while also promoting fairness and racial equity.

The Social Policy Committee works on issues that effect the attainment of basic human needs for all members of our community. These issues include safe and sustainable housing; access to quality health care including general, mental and reproductive health services; adequate food availability and a safe environment, particularly the prevention of gun violence.

Our mission is to ensure democracy works for every Collier County citizen by making sure every vote is counted, working to increase turnout through voter registration and education, and by monitoring legislation that impacts voting rights.
